Kiloview KiloLink Station Pro – All-in-One AV over IP Aggregation, Decoding and Distribution Platform

The Kiloview KiloLink Station Pro is an all-in-one professional AV over IP platform node designed for the Kiloview KiloLink ecosystem. It combines multi-channel network video source aggregation, local hardware decoding, synchronized video output, multi-protocol streaming distribution, and centralized device management in a single compact hardware unit.

Designed for professional video production and AV workflows, the KiloLink Station Pro provides end-to-end processing from network video signal aggregation and hardware decoding to local display, signal distribution, and platform-level device management.

With an embedded lightweight version of KiloLink Server, the KiloLink Station Pro can be managed directly through a web browser without requiring an additional server deployment or client software installation.

It is designed for applications including multi-camera live production, event production, switcher-based production, conferencing systems, field media aggregation, and AV over IP workflows.

All-in-One KiloLink Platform Node

The KiloLink Station Pro includes an embedded lightweight version of KiloLink Server, providing centralized platform-level management without the need to deploy an additional server or install client software.

A single KiloLink Station Pro can manage up to 64 Kiloview devices. Device management, signal link monitoring and service configuration can be accessed through a web browser.

This simplifies the deployment and management of KiloLink-based video workflows and provides a compact solution for centralized device control and network signal monitoring.

Multi-Channel Network Video Signal Aggregation

The KiloLink Station Pro can aggregate up to 8 network video sources simultaneously.

At launch, it supports Kiloview P3 and P3 Mini encoders. Devices can be onboarded by confirming the connection request on the device, without requiring individual configuration for every connected device.

This makes the system suitable for workflows involving multiple remote or distributed video sources.

Local Hardware Video Decoding

All supported incoming signals are decoded locally using hardware decoding, removing the need for an external standalone decoder.

The KiloLink Station Pro provides decoding capacity of up to:

• 8 channels of 1080p60
• 4 channels of 4Kp30

Supported video decoding formats include:

• H.264
• H.265 / HEVC

Supported audio decoding formats include:

• AAC
• Opus
• G.711

Additional formats may be added through future software updates.

Flexible 3G-SDI and HDMI Video Output

The KiloLink Station Pro features:

• 4 × 3G-SDI outputs
• 1 × HDMI 2.0 output

These five independent physical video outputs create a flexible output routing matrix.

Any decoded video source can be assigned to any output interface, allowing operators to route signals according to the requirements of the production workflow. The same decoded picture can also be distributed to multiple output interfaces simultaneously.

Each output interface supports independent configuration of:

• Output resolution
• Frame rate

Automatic scaling is applied when the source resolution does not match the selected output interface.

The HDMI output supports:

• Single-view output
• 2×2 quad-split viewing

Audio can be embedded in both the SDI and HDMI outputs. A dedicated 3.5 mm analogue audio output is also provided.

Multi-Protocol AV over IP Streaming Distribution

The KiloLink Station Pro supports real-time signal distribution using mainstream AV over IP and streaming protocols, including:

• NDI HX
• SRT
• RTMP
• RTMPS
• HLS
• TS over UDP
• RTSP
• RTP

Incoming signals can be re-encapsulated and distributed in real time.

A single aggregated video signal can be decoded locally for display while simultaneously being distributed to different network destinations and streaming platforms.

This allows the KiloLink Station Pro to combine local video monitoring and output with parallel IP video distribution within the same workflow.

Optional Multi-Channel SDI Frame-Level Alignment

The KiloLink Station Pro offers an optional frame-level SDI alignment function.

When enabled, multiple SDI outputs are synchronized at frame boundaries using SEI timecode embedded in the video stream or frame timestamps marked by compatible Kiloview P3 and P3 Mini devices.

This feature is designed to provide synchronized multi-camera video sources for downstream production switchers and switching workflows.

The frame-level alignment function can be enabled or disabled as required.

Browser-Based Device Management

With the embedded lightweight KiloLink Server, users can manage the KiloLink platform directly through a web browser.

Functions include:

• Device management
• Signal link monitoring
• Service configuration

No separate server deployment or client software installation is required.

Local Front-Panel Control

The KiloLink Station Pro features a front-panel LCD display and physical control buttons.

The LCD screen displays system and device information including:

• CPU status
• Memory status
• Temperature
• IP information
• Video output status

Without requiring a computer, users can also use the front panel to:

• View device and network information
• Configure NETWORK 1 network parameters
• Quickly change the signal source for an SDI output

Professional Network Connectivity

The KiloLink Station Pro provides two network interfaces:

For applications requiring greater available bandwidth, Kiloview recommends prioritizing the 5GbE NETWORK 1 port.

Local Storage Interface

The KiloLink Station Pro includes an interface for the Kiloview Storage Stick dedicated SSD storage module.

According to the manufacturer, the local recording function will be enabled through a future OTA software update.
